RadTech has been selected to ruggedize Apple PowerBook and PC notebook computers to be used by the BAI 2003 Everest summit and ski descent team

St. Louis, Missouri - September 4, 2003 -RadTech, producers of innovative solutions for mobile computing, has been selected to ruggedize Apple PowerBook and PC notebook computers to be used by the BAI 2003 Everest summit and ski descent team. Dispatches from the event will commence from Kathmandu, Nepal beginning August 26, 2003.

Seattle Washington's Maegan Carney, a two-time World Freeride / Extreme Skiing Champion aims to be the first American and first woman to complete a ski descent of Mt. Everest. Her passion is climbing peaks and skiing obscure, steep couloirs. In 2002, Carney made the first descent of the 24,000 ft. Cholatse Peak in Nepal.

RadTech principal John Grzeskowiak demonstrated product worthiness to team guide David Burger on the basis of light weight, protective ability and complete functionality at subzero temperatures, extremely important properties for technology-laden climbing expeditions in the harshest conditions on Earth.

The summit team will be sending regular dispatches throughout the journey via an Apple 12 inch PowerBook G4, also provided by RadTech. "We're very thrilled to be a small part of this amazing human endeavor" noted John.
